Virgin Media, one of the leading digital TV provider is now ready to offer an increasingly comprehensive on-demand service through its V HD box; as told by a leading electronics website. During the review of the set top box, Hugo Jobling of TrustedReviews' claimed that the area of on-demand programming is one where the fibre optic cable broadband provider shines. According to Hugo, quality of Virgin Media's digital TV is expected to get better.
Mr Jobling suggested that storing shows on a hard drive is likely to become less appealing as the viewers are aware that their TV provider has all of those programmes stored itself, available to re-watch at their wont.
Virgin Media recently revealed that the first series of hit US drama True Blood is to be made available through its on-demand digital TV platform this month. Popularity of digital TV is increasing at a rapid rate, providing better chance to the viewers for entertainment. People are getting highly dependent on this mode as home entertainment has got a new facet with this.
