Market research firm IDC has pointed out that the Global Personal Compuer (PC) market has been recovering well. And further this trend wil not only continue but lead to a double-digit annual growth through 2014. IDC informed this to the media on March 15, 2010.

There are projects that the PC market will grow at yearly rates of 13.9, 12.7, 11.5 and 11.3 percent respectively in the coming four years

It is also learnt that the portable PCs served as a catalyst for the market to surge ahead waht with PC shipments registering an increase of 18.4 cent in 2009 compared to 2008.
